Handcrafted in Kenya

Each collar is handcrafted by skilled Maasai women, known as Maasai Mamas, using premium, durable leather and hand-cast hardware. A single collar takes approximately one day to create.

The beads are individually hand-sewn onto the outer leather layer. A second leather layer is then glued and stitched into place, covering the beadwork’s stitching and adding softness and durability.

Each artisan brings her own creative touch to the beadwork, honoring traditional skills and individual expression. Slight variations in bead placement and pattern are a natural part of the handmade process and give each collar its own character.
