Dog Apparel
The weight ranges shown on our size charts are averages and should be used only as a general guide. For the best fit, we strongly recommend measuring your dog before ordering.
Please measure your dog in three places:
- Neck: Around the neck where the collar normally sits
- Chest: Around the widest part of the chest
- Length: From where the collar sits to the rear
Just like people, dogs of the same weight can have very different proportions. A dog's build and how they carry their weight can make a significant difference in which size fits best.
For the most accurate fit, compare your dog's measurements with the size chart on the product page rather than choosing a size based on weight alone.

No problem! You can choose whichever option is easiest for you:
Return it: Use the Return Request link at the very bottom of our website under Helpful Information. Once you submit your request, keep an eye out for an email from us with return instructions. If you don't receive an email within 4 business hours, please check your spam or junk folder. You can then place a new order for the size you need.
Exchange it: If you'd rather exchange your item for a different size, simply email us and we'll be happy to arrange the exchange for you—no return request form needed.
With proper care, our shirts and dresses are designed to look great and last for years. We include an Apparel Care Card with every order so you can keep the instructions handy.
For best results:
- Machine wash in cool water, preferably with the garment turned inside out.
- If using a top-loading washing machine, we recommend the gentle cycle.
- Hang to dry whenever possible.
- If using a dryer, choose the lowest heat setting and remove the garment as soon as it is dry.
Following these simple care instructions will help protect both the fabric and printed design so your dog's apparel can be enjoyed for years to come.

If your item develops a defect within one year of purchase, simply snap a photo or two showing the issue and email them to us, along with the name used to place your order.

Our premium apparel is made from a 65% cotton / 35% polyester blend that gives you the best of both materials. Cotton provides the durability to stand up to even the wildest case of the zoomies, while polyester adds breathability, flexibility and just enough stretch for comfortable everyday wear. Higher-stress areas are also double-stitched for added durability.
The result is apparel that's lightweight, soft, breathable, comfortable and built to last for years with proper care.
Every Luna & Leash shirt and dress is designed by our team and individually printed in Ohio using a specialized printing process chosen for both comfort and longevity. The design becomes part of the garment rather than feeling like a heavy layer sitting on top of it, helping it stay soft and flexible while resisting the cracking, peeling and fading commonly seen with lesser-quality printed apparel.
We don't make disposable dog shirts. We make apparel designed to be worn, washed, loved and worn again. And we guarantee it.
Custom Dog Shirts
Absolutely! Visit our Design Your Own Custom Dog Shirt or Dog Dress product and use our customization tool to create something that's completely your own.
You can add your own text and upload photos, logos or artwork directly into your design. If an image has a background you don't want printed, simply select “Erase Background” after uploading it and our system will remove the background for you.
Want to take your photo a little further? We can help with that, too. If you love the photo but not the background, reach out to us. In many cases, we can remove or replace the setting while keeping the part of the photo you love—whether that's your dog, a person, or something else entirely.
Have an idea you can't quite create with the tool? Reach out to us through chat or email. Whether you're having trouble with the designer, want help transforming a photo, or need something the tool can't accomplish, we're happy to help bring your idea to life.

Just reach out to us through chat or email and tell us what you have in mind. Whether you're not comfortable using design tools, you're short on time, or you simply want a little creative help, our team can turn your idea into a design for you at no additional charge.
Have a photo you'd like to use? Send that along, too. We can often help with things like removing or replacing backgrounds and preparing your image so it works beautifully on your dog's shirt or dress.

Because every custom item is created especially for you, please allow a little extra time for us to make it just right.
During non-peak times, custom shirts and dresses generally ship within 2 business days. During especially busy periods, please allow up to 5 business days.
Have a deadline? No need to hold your breath and hope for the best—just let us know! Reach out to us before ordering and tell us when you need it. We'll let you know whether we can realistically make it happen.
Because custom shirts and dresses are created specifically for you, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
That doesn't mean we'll leave you hanging if something isn't right. If there's an issue with your custom item, please reach out to us and let us know what happened. We'll take a look and do everything we reasonably can to help.
Closing the door on a customer just isn't the Luna & Leash way.
Promotions & Discounts
Generally, discounts and promotions cannot be combined or stacked. If more than one offer is available, you'll typically need to choose the one that gives you the best savings.
There are some exceptions. For example, our Buy 4 Dog Shirts, Get Your 5th FREE offer still applies when eligible shirts are already on sale. Think of it like rewards you don't have to wait to earn—you can cash them in right away!
Some special offers may have their own terms or exclusions, which we'll always communicate as clearly as possible.
Have a coupon or promotion that you think should be working but isn't? Reach out to us through chat or email. We're happy to take a look and help.
We try to make our promotions as simple as possible. If our shirts are on sale, the sale price will be clearly displayed on the product page—no coupon code needed.
When we're offering a multi-shirt promotion, such as Buy 4 Shirts, Get Your 5th FREE, simply add at least 5 eligible shirts to your cart. When you reach checkout, the promotion will be applied automatically and the discount for your free shirt will be deducted from your total.

We also retire designs from time to time to make room for new ones, so if something has caught your eye, we wouldn't recommend waiting too long to make it yours.
