Official Rules

Welcome to Every Dog Has a Story, a monthly program created by Luna & Leash to celebrate the incredible bond between dogs and the people who love them.

Our goal is simple: to recognize and share meaningful stories that remind us why dogs make our lives better every day.

No Purchase Necessary

No purchase is necessary to nominate a dog or to be selected as our Official Luna & Leash Featured Dog of the Month. Purchasing from Luna & Leash does not increase your chances of being selected.

Who Can Nominate

Anyone may nominate any dog. You may nominate your own dog or a dog that has made a meaningful impact on someone else's life.

There is no limit to the number of nominations you may submit, and a dog may be nominated multiple times.

Featured Dog of the Month

Each month, Luna & Leash will review all eligible submissions and select one dog to be recognized as our Official Featured Dog of the Month.

While an individual may nominate multiple dogs over time, each dog may only be selected as Featured Dog of the Month once.

Selections are based on the story submitted and the spirit of the Every Dog Has a Story program. This is not a random drawing.

Featured Dog of the Month selections are final and are made at the sole discretion of Luna & Leash.

Recognition

Each Featured Dog of the Month will receive:

• 🏆 A featured story on the Luna & Leash website
• 📱 Recognition across our social media channels
• 📧 A spotlight in our email newsletter
• 👕 A custom Featured Dog of the Month commemorative shirt
• 📜 A personalized Featured Dog of the Month Certificate of Recognition

As our thank-you for sharing your story, every published submission will also receive an exclusive Luna & Leash thank-you coupon.

If circumstances beyond our control require it, Luna & Leash reserves the right to substitute any award with one of equal or greater value.

Notification of Selection

If your dog is selected as our Official Featured Dog of the Month, we'll contact you using the email address provided with your nomination.

We'll make at least three attempts to reach you over a period of 10 days. Because some email providers may route messages from unfamiliar email addresses to spam or junk folders, we encourage you to check those folders after submitting your nomination.

If we're unable to reach you within 10 days, or we don't receive a response, we may select another Featured Dog for that month.

Stories and Photos

By submitting a nomination, you confirm that you have permission to submit the story and any photographs you provide.

If your submission is selected for publication, you grant Luna & Leash permission to publish your story and photos on our website, social media channels, email newsletters, and other materials related to the Every Dog Has a Story program.

You retain ownership of your story and photographs.

Stories may be lightly edited for spelling, grammar, punctuation, length, or clarity while preserving the original meaning.

Please submit the best photos you have available. If your dog is selected or your story is published, we may request additional or higher-quality photos if needed for publication.

Eligibility

The Every Dog Has a Story program is open to dogs and nominators worldwide.

Program Changes

Luna & Leash reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Every Dog Has a Story program at any time if circumstances require.
